Mirya was raised in Fernfrond Village as a child. When she turned 100 and it came time to migrate with the other Shaymin, she decided to stay behind and protect her foster village out of gratitude. She is fiercely devoted to protecting it and everyone who lives in it.
She’s taken a number of vows, such as not lying or stealing, and never backing down when an innocent Pokemon is threatened, that help keep her focused and prevent her from causing collateral damage in her zeal. Cerise , who she frequently travels with as of late, also helps with this.
