Because I love Rose and I Love the relationship she had with the Doctor. Because I believe that the Doctor still holds feelings for Rose after her having such an impact on his life. Because I believe that the doctor is the same man with just a new face and not disconnected and made into a whole different person with the same memories.That's why I did this.
I would Love to see how the Doctor reacts if he were to ever see Rose again. and I am sad that there is no more reference to her, it seems like when the Doctor changed to the 11th form the writers made it seem like he suddenly forgotten all about the people he just left.

There's a reference of Rose when he's been poisoned and this computer thing transformed first into Rose, then into Martha, then into Donna and last as Amy when she was a little girl. Basically he was seeing all the people he'd failed (but I don't understand why Martha was there, she chose to leave. Rose makes sense because he lost her in Doomsday and then left her with his clone and Donna makes sense because he had to take away her memories of him and lost her that way.) Then there was the hotel where everyone would be shown their greatest fear; The Doctor saw his worst fear but we didn't get to see what it was, it could've been the day his planet was destroyed, when he lost Rose in Doomsday or when he left her with his clone, it could've been anything really. Amy also asked The Doctor what he believed in but he didn't tell her, he once announced that he believed in Rose so maybe he didn't want to admit that he believed in Rose or because he lost her, he no longer had anything left to believe in.

Which is why, I kinda stopped watching doctor who so much after season 2 xD no, I saw up to 5... ANYWAYS I read fanfiction and surf on TenxRose and ElevenxRose more than I actually watch the show XD

sorry guys, i saw the 50th, 11 didn't show any emotion when war Doctor mentions Bad Wolf girl, the only one who did a slight double take was sand shoes aka 10.

Also I believe the same as you - that the Doctor is still the same man inside, even if parts of him are different and I can't believe that he'll ever forget his feelings for Rose!

Don't worry; I'm writing a book where the Eleventh Doctor and his new companions (NOT Amy and Rory, two original ones I created) land on Parallel Earth and meet the Human Doctor (ie. the one who's half the Doctor, half Donna) and Rose and they battle the Daleks!

That was then. Sure it sucks, but she's hardly the first girl he's had to let go because she chose someone else. It's something he's long ago learned to accept. What made him sad most before the Clone Doctor was Rose was stuck without anyone. Now she has someone, and while it's not him, he's happy that she's happy.
So he moved on. He moved on with his most long-lasting companion, the TARDIS. Then he met Amy, and Rory, and through them he finally met a girl who chose HIM instead of someone else; River Song.

No, my opinion based on the emotions I've seen, in the episodes I've seen. Not everyone can stay up to date on all the episodes, not everyone will read the characters' actions the same way. This is why fandoms have shipping wars; every side can come up with any number of reasons as to why theirs is better/truer/more canon than all the others.

Rose was created to be the Doctor's equal in every way but scientific Knowledge. She was created to be noble and strong, and heroic and clever, and was described to be " Braver than brave, and more loyal than anyone in the universe". The actor who played Nine said that he believed that it was " Love at First Sight" between the two characters, but more mysterious. Davies said that it was very difficult for him to separate the two characters, because it was done for the sake of the plot, and not because it was something that the characters, especially Rose, would have done.
Davies didn't feel that Rose's character would have fallen in love with Doctor #2, because " she's doing what the plot demands, and not what she'd demand". I understand that the sepaeration was done for the plot, but, I think, in the end, Rose just became a bigger character than they expected her to be.
I actually read that, in the original storyline, they were going to have it so that Rose was manipulated by the Doctor her whole life so that she would become his perfect companion...Lol...
A lot changed later on in the series, I think it might be because Moffat took over after Davies as the lead writer and executive producer in the fifth season.
So yes, I do believe that The characters are still in love with each other, as they had to be forcibly separated. And the doctor does mention that he goes back in time to help Rose with her homework at some point.
Sorry for the long rant, I read all of this and just had to share it.

I just thought River might me jelous if he still has romantic feelings for Rose. It doesn't mean Rose and River couldn't be friends though, just because she's a bit jelous doesn't mean they wouldn't get along. Though, River does remind me of Rose a bit, maybe that's why he's is attracted to her? I saw that voice interface one, I was like, "hey, there's Rose!" and then there was Martha (don't like her much, I don't know why he'd feel guilty), and then it showed Donna, I think he still misses her too.

Awwww no, I don't think so (lmao I'm jumping into this conversation totally late XD don't mind me). I honestly thing Rose and River would get along more than fine, man. I think, personally, my dream episode would be to watch 11th, duplicate doctor, Rose and River all together bouncing off of eachother. It'd make for awesome comedy and awwwww inducing moments imo.
