I love art and creativity of every sort. I hate Bios. What am I supposed to say? I am married with a 14 year old son. I have an addictive personality but also somewhat flighty. I think I would describe myself as spongelike. I love something, then I completely immerse myself in it until I can't possibly absorb anymore and then I add that sponge to my collection and move on to the next thing. You know, that sounds quite odd. I love my sponge collection and take time to play with the shelved sponges. Wow, I should really stop now.

some advice on teaching your son: in Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain, she says that kids often just give up because...it just doesn't look like it should. Encourage him to keep at it, no matter how 'bad' it 'might' look. That's why adults who haven't drawn since childhood and try to draw a face make it often look like a child's drawing of a face...because they are stunted in their growth in art.

Weirdly, I drew a little as a kid, picked it back up a lil as a young man, and picked it back up SERIOUSLY over a half and a half ago and haven't stopped...and would say my stuff didn't look like a child's work even with all those gaps.
