Should I draw another one? It's been a looooooooong time since i drew this, and I believe it came out pretty good, so should i?

I love this pairing!! (hiss to sorato X Yamato) i love Hikari X Yamato. The thought popped in my head,

Yamato and Hikari gets separated from the others and go searching for them. Hikari gets a fever and Yamato has to take care of her. he gives her a piggy back ride.

I know that there are basically NO Yakari pictures, so I'm on a mission to make some!

Time passed by for what seemed like hours on end as the two didgidestins walked through the grassy plain. It seemed like it would never end, the sun still high in the air burning the land below it angrily, and not a cloud in sight to cover the vicious rays of the sun even for a second. Matt was walking with Kari slowly trudging behind.

Her head started pounding and her body was burning up, 'Oh no...not now...' she thought, frustrated with herself, and continued pushing her body to keep up with the boy ahead of her. 'I can't be a bother, I have to keep going...' a tickle in her throat begged her to cough but she didn't want him to worry so she did all she could to suppress the urge. The last thing she wanted was to slow everything down,at least more so than it already is.

Matt Looked back at the sluggish girl, "Hey hurry up, if we want to find the others we have to go faster," he said stopping and waiting for her to catch up. She nodded and picked up her feet to move faster but her body gave in and her knees buckled under the pressure. She collapsed to the floor and caused a worried Matt to hurry to her side. "Kari! are you okay?"

"Yeah sor-" a fit of coughs cut her off. Matt pressed a hand to her forehead and suddenly retracted it as if he touched fire.

"Geez, Your burning up!"He slapped his hand to his head and chastised himself for not noticing earlier. "Why didn't you tell me before?" he asked angrily.

"I'm sorry..." she said softly slightly lifting her cheek from the soft grass below her. "I didn't want to slow you down."

She attempted to push herself off the ground and stand but failed and landed back on her knees. "I'm sorry," she repeated once again.

"Ah quit it with the sorries will ya?" he scratched the back on his head nervously letting out a sigh. He turned around and knelled down, arms behind him stretched out towards Kari. "get on...i'll carry you."

She took a moment to look at him, "Are you sure?" she saw him nod and used her little strength to climbed on the older boys back. He lightly lifter her up and continued to walk. "Thank you Matt."

"Hey, don't you worry about it. Remember, if anything's wrong you tell me okay?" He waited for an answer but there was only silence, "Kari?" He look over his shoulder to see her eyes closed, she had fallen asleep almost immediately after he had picked her up. He smiles at her innocence as he continues to walk, hopping to catch up with the group soon.
