Description I saw this image of Yuki smiling in the Fruits Basket manga and I knew I had to draw that smile. Of course, it's not exactly alike. It's a bit off, but I don't think it looks too bad. If you noticed, I had left it colorless for the most part (except for the background). I wanted to remain true to the "manga" type art, and thus, most of the shading was done with 1/4 tone or whatever that little tool is called.

If you're wondering, I don't have a tablet, so I took a painstakingly 6 hours (or something of the like) drawing it with a mouse... not too bad for a leftie drawing with her right hand on the mouse, eh?

EDIT: I have a tablet now, but at the time of this picture's entry, I didn't have one.

P.S. Pop quiz -- does anyone know which scene this image comes from?

Really? Does that mean you like Kyo more? lol. Yuki's past is just about as tragic as Kyo's actually. They don't emphasize it as much in the anime as they do in the manga though.

That place is great. I saw a video of Inuyasha: "He's the Man" which made me laugh until my sides hurt. But it was taken down, because the maker did not have permission from the creator of Inuyasha. OOOH OOH! I KNOW! I KNOW! it came from where it was the typhoon and he and tohru were putting the cover over his garden and then he was going to pick some leeks for dinner and then that night tohru learned that kyo HATES leeks so then yuki stuffs them in his mouth with an expert little spin with his chopsticks and then kyo kinda passes out and then the next day...

ANYWAYS, THIS IS SO CUTE!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!

Thank you, and yes, it is worth the effort, but nonetheless, it was painstaking work. I thought I would have gotten Carpal Tunnel Syndrome from working on the mouse that long continuously.
