Description So I was watching an episode of Ouran High School Host Club. It was the episode where the newspaper club wanted to do an interview with the Host Club and Tamaki wanted to help them, but no one else would do it... until Kyouya made some conditions and everyone else was like: "Well, if Kyouya says so..." Then Haruhi said something that stuck with me, "Behold the power of the shadow king." XD And I thought it was so amusing that I automatically had this image in my mind of Kyouya's alter ego--the Shadow King.

I couldn't really decide what the Shadow King should look like... except the obvious--be shrouded in shadows. I don't really like the coloring in this, but I felt it would have been better to color it than without color. Also, I've noticed the porportions of Kyouya is off. His right arm is a bit longer than it should be, but if I changed that, then something else would look off... so I just said, "Meh. I'm not in the mood to redo everything."

On a side note, is holding a contest.... except the theme is "couples". Well, technically this could count as a "couple" right? It's Kyouya and his alter ego. XD I guess I'll just ask if it's acceptable. If not, at least my goal of depicting the Shadow King is fulfilled. X3

man, i hear so much about this show, and still haven't seen it! cool pic!! i like the contrast between the two alter-egos.

I find it to be a funny show, but I don't recommend it to everyone. XD; The humor is more specific based and just like there are ecchi fanservice anime that tailor to guys' tastes, I would have to say this show is more tailored to girls' tastes if you know what I mean. (Not to mention some parts are downright disturbing. D: )
