Yep, another fortress, of the motte and bailey pattern. Castles are really fun to paint, and it's rewarding to paint the stone texture from scratch.Some say that stone keeps are a pain to heat, but I'd live there anyway, because the only way you could keep it warm is with enormous fires in the middle of the room. I'd say that's a plus.

Very different looking castle. Very primitive, almost a proto-castle. I like!

The only problem would be that chimneys hadn't been invented(or been forgotten since the Romans)so castles were smoky.Β Toilets were not a problem for the lord, though, he usually had the only one in the castle; aΒ stall that emptied on the moat.
