This makes me wonder if Finnish cons have clothing restrictions. Because I know in Estonian cons they have some limit to how nearly-naked you can be.  But Desu is K18 so maybe not? Gorgeous photo. I love the sky and your models are stunning.

Thanks Winxhelina.

Dress "code" varies a bit based on the convention location. What is totally appropriate in summer at the beach (there is actually a real swimming beach some 200 meters from the spot of this photograph) may draw lots of unwanted attention in wintertime in the middle of urban city (like Messukeskus in Helsinki).

In general revealing cosplays are not encouraged in any Finnish con. General swimwear / bikini that is normally used in public family friendly beaches and swimming halls is usually accepted as a coverage "limit". The con organizer has the final word.

The old saying of "are you o.k. when your teacher/boss and older relatives see your pictures?" is still valid
Of course we put some serious attention to the poses and shooting angles while trying to maintain the spirit of the anime at the same time.

If you know this anime series you might notice that these costumes actually do cover a lot more than the original references

This picture is a part of a group shot of no less than seven characters of the same set including two very handsome gentlemen. I must say that this group drew some public attention during the shoot in the public harbor park. I think over 90% was "wow" and maybe 10% was "what".

I do not yet have contact information of every participant so just this sample is published with the kind permission of these two talented and beautiful models.

I see. That makes sense. Yeah I am aware Kill la Kill is very... um - well known for it's revealing outfits? I feel like that is a problem quite often in general when you are a girl cosplayer and all the characters you want to do only wear mini-skirts and crop tops.

Sounds like a cool shoot.
