j-m-s In reply to trash60 [2005-08-25 03:39:45 +0000 UTC]

I'm actually looking of getting prints done locally and then selling them online over my own website, but I still gotta do some research into how thats done. DA prints is a big rip-off they take 50% of your profits and thats after base cost.

memod [2005-06-15 22:59:43 +0000 UTC]

this piece is very interesting. I like how you lead the eye around, how you make me look everywhere and nowhere at the same time. I notice that I really keep searching the image for new things, for more details that I haven't noticed yet....and that's good
the mirroring works nicely here.

It might have even been two hours I'm not sure, but its a fairly small drawing so there wasnt much space to cover.

Hamana Hamana Hamana Hamana...
You may not know it, but you created a Mandala. Those things take years to make, and to do them, people have to use insane amounts of geometry. But no, you just did it with a ballpoint pen. You are an amazing artist.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

j-m-s In reply to SoulxToast [2005-04-21 04:52:05 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.
I think mandalas are a little more intricate than this.. they focus a lot more on the actual knotwork than this.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SoulxToast In reply to j-m-s [2005-04-21 05:57:41 +0000 UTC]

True, that and the fact that there are actual things inside the mandala. Either way though, I'm amazed at this work. Go you!

I have a tip that might help you...
If you find a place where there are no distractions, it should help you maintain your patience.
When there is nothing else to do, you don't get tired.

Yep, If you ever get lazy just draw half of something then mirror it.. chances are it'll look alright.
It works for me.
