Wanted to do something a little different so tried my hand at a quick ink of some cherry blossoms. Spent about 15 minutes on it and had alot of fun trying something new. ΒRelated content

What makes most of your drawings unique is a lack of texture.
For most artists working in ink, this is something that would go against their work.
However, your stuff seems to thrive in its absence.
Do you wrestle with the temptation to add more hatching, stippling, and the like?
I think it would be a mistake, because the clean lines and bold shapes give your approach an edge.

Thank you very much. I wouldnt say i struggle with it but i do like to experiment and have some fun with it. Because of that there will be time when its super simple and tine when i fill the space with as many line as i can. Its all just about having a bit of fun and seeing whats possible with pen and ink that people may not have tried before.
