This may be a weird question, but I am coming back to drawing after a 2 year hiatus/block. I'm better than average but most def NOT up to this kind of amazingness...I guess my question is, when you picked up a pencil, was it like this right away? Or was there a progress for you? I'm considering simply abandoning my art because this is the level I want to achieve yet I don't know if it's possible.

where did you get your prisma coler pencils? i remember my grandma gave me a box that only had a few colers in it but i really liked the pencels, and havent been able to find any more

Now THAT"S Neytiri! Camoflaged, wary, huntress. She looks like she might flee at the snap of the twig, but you know she'll kill without hesitation (but plenty of afterthought, albiet.)

That picture is amazing! I love how it is one drawn on a blue background instead of white. And the pink and orange makes a really interesting contrast. Most of all, I love the "shine" though. I wish I could draw like that!
