Description Seeing as this series actually started with a wolf, I'm glad that I could add another one to it. Mystery again, she had very interesting eyes, notice that they aren't one solid color. There's something almost wild there.

Very nice shot! I've found that getting a "good" eye shot has been a challenge. My latest visit to Wolf Park I worked hard on this, especially as I have Ruedi, the blue-eyed wolf, to work with there. He's just such a wonderful subject. I've not posted any of them yet, but hope to soon.

I admire your technique here very much. Very clear and precise!

Thanks. Wolves are hard to get eye shots on because they avoid eye contact. Can't wait to see your shots.

Indeed! Since I've looked at your gallery a little today, I've come to appreciate your experience with wolves. Thus, I truly appreciate your comments, as you know the challenges associated with wolf photography. Not that I disparage others, but those who actually do wolf photography appreciate the challenges just a tad more. You know what I mean! And yes, the eye shots are more difficult for that reason. And yet, I'm so fascinated with them! I'm inspired by Monty Sloan, who does such great photography with them. But, of course, he's with them every day and they know him well and know he's no challenge to them!

Sloan is one of my inspirations as well, I would love to be able to do what he does with a camera. I'm lucky enough to be able to interact with them as much as I do.
