Yes it appears the damage is on the lens only and not the camera. So its not as bad as I thought the lens is just the kit lens, so its not really a high quality lens. So yes I am back in action.

Haha! Its not hard I see some nice gear in there at times and usually you get at half cost so you can grab 2 items at equal value!
