This is the 2nd final painting for my personal project for university. I have been working on the project for the past few weeks however i am focusing on the development process - meaning i have mostly just been sketching and exploring designs in line, so there hasn't been much to show until now.

The idea is that this hermit astronomer has taken over a dormant volcano - flooded it and built an observatory. Using the water source and rich soil he is fairly self sustainable over long periods and can observe the stars in peace.

Will post the development work shortly.
