Here are a couple more Rise of the Guardians OCs!

Meet the Sanders siblings: Gabriel (or 'Gabe'), and his older brother Will.

Will is 14 years old, and little Gabe is 9.

Unfortunately, they haven't really had the best childhood.

Will was born with 1/3 of his right arm missing, hence the prosthetic. Gabe, however, is mute. He was born with malformed voice box and vocal chords. Poor little guy couldn't make a sound even if he tried. Due to that, he carries around a small dry-erase board to write down what he wants to say. He usually uses it to "speak" to those who don't know Sign Language.

Their mother, though, didn't care about their malformities. She and their father loved them with all their hearts.

All that changed, however, after their mother died from a blood condition that (thankfully) had NOT passed on to her two boys.

Will was 7, and little Gabe was only 2.

Their father took it the hardest, though, descending into depression, which turned into alcohol-fueled rage after he lost his job. He would take this rage out on Will. Will honestly preferred that it be him taking the pain from their father, rather than little Gabe.

Knowing that his little brother wasn't suffering, was what got Will through the day, despite the physical and emotional scars he now bore.

This went on for nearly two years, then it finally reached it's breaking point.

One night, after having one beer too many, their father took out a knife and starting advancing on little 4-year-old Gabriel, blaming him for their mother's death.

Will (now 9 years old), seeing the fear in his baby brother's eyes, stood in front of him as a living sheild, just as the monster they once called their father brought the knife down, slashing Will's left eye.

Despite all the blood and the searing pain, Will managed to grab the closest blunt object he could find (which was, ironically, an empty beer bottle), and brought it down on their father's head, stunning him long enough for Will to gather little Gabe (who was now crying his little eyes out) into his arms, run to the nearest neighbor's house, and have them call the police and an ambulance.

Will had to get surgery to ensure that he would still be able to see out of his left eye, but unfortunately, the scar he received from his father's knife would always be there. He didn't really mind though. Gabriel was safe and unharmed (save for a minor bruise or two), and that was all that mattered to him.

After their father's arrest and trial (in which he was found guilty of Abuse, Neglect, Child Endangerment and Attempted Murder), Will and Gabe were placed in the Foster Care System. At first, Will was afraid that he and Gabe would be separated, but it seemed someone was watching over them.

They were soon adopted by Holly Holliston, a woman who was the sister of one of the policemen who just so happened to be on the brothers' case. She couldn't stand the thought of the two boys being separated when they needed each other the most. She also has two kids of her own: Twins, Kris and Carol [link] , who are only 2 years older than Gabe.

Despite everything that they went through utterly ripping his childhood innocence from him, Will refused to let his little brother grow up at such a young age. Every night, to help Gabe keep his belief, he would tell him the stories that their mother had told Will since he was a baby, about every mythical figure he could think of, like Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and Gabe's personal favorite, the Sandman. He even gave Gabriel a small bottle of Dream Sand (that he had somehow collected the night Gabe was born) on a string to wear around his neck, so he would always have good dreams.
