“H-how?” Josh asked, “Why?!” he blanched out, unable to think of any proper questions.

‘SAMMY IS THE SIZE OF A FREAKING DOLL!’ was all Josh’s brain could comprehend.

Sam managed to take a few deep breathes, wincing at the pressure around his body and wings.

“C-could.. you first ease up?” he asked Josh, trying to hide the pain that flashed across his face.

Josh’s eyes bugged out even more than they had before!

He suddenly felt like a monster as he realized what he had just done.

“O-omg... dude im so sorry” Josh instantly eased up his grip on the tiny fairy boy, his mind still struggling to believe that it was in-fact SAM he had in his hand!

Sam let out a deep breathe, groaning a little as he squirmed in Josh’s grip, it wasn’t as tight as before but he certainly couldn’t move very much.

“D-dammit Josh, why must you be so grabby!” he managed a weak smile, trying to stop the lingering shaking nerves he felt.

Josh didn’t know how he was supposed to react...

“Dude, you never answered my question. HOW the HELL, are you tinker bell sized?!” Josh whispered.

Sam winced, “Cool it would you? T-try not to freak out so much” he huffed.

Josh snorted in reply, rolling his eyes slightly as he brought back his foot, crouching down slightly in the dirt.

“Says the one shaking life a leaf” he grinned slightly

Sam flushed a brilliant red and looked away, he didn’t expect Josh to have felt that...

“I..I didn’t think you noticed..”

Josh chuckled, taking his free hand and brought it up to ruffle at Sam’s hair gently with a single finger.

“I can feel every little twitch you make dude” Josh said, trying to hide a smile as he saw Sam squirm away from his touch.

Sam glared up at Josh, huffing.

“Could you let me go already?” he snapped at Josh, continuing to squirm.

“Promise you won’t fly off?” Josh asked, his eyebrows rising slightly as he looked to see the small delicate wings on his friends’ impossibly small back.

They resembled dragon fly wings, only far more delicate and filled with colour, similar to when you hold colourful glass up in the sunlight.

They looked fragile... just like Sam.

Josh’s chest ached as he thought of how he had just grabbed Sam off the ground, worry flooding his brain over his curiosity.

Sam rolled his eyes, “I won’t fly off you dunce... besides, I can’t” he snorted.

Josh sighed as he released Sam into his other hand, palm up.

Sam yelped as he was deposited on the flat fleshy surface, his feet sinking into the skin beneath him as he felt Josh’s pulse under his boots.

“Warning next time!” Sam snapped up at Josh, his arms crossed.

Josh could not hide a grin at that, Sam looked adorable at this height.

“Okay, okay. I’m sorry” he smirked down at him.

“Now, you plan on telling me how exactly you became the size of ‘Jiminy Cricket’ ?”
