Hello friends,

Had the sudden itch to draw my human version of Optimus Prime again.

I swear this was actually going to be a meme redraw, specifically a Star Trek meme redraw, the Picard facepalm meme. But somehow, somewhere in between of the sketching stages my mind went autopilot, and when I snapped out of it, it had already morphed itself into something completely different, so you could say my hands slipped. Ups.

Well, other than that, I actually wanted to explore the more political side of the Autobot/Decepticon war with this piece, but then again such thoughts are bound to happen when you’re mother drags you trough an entire Star Trek movie marathon. So yeah at this point I headcanon the Humanformers and their ship the Ark as something similar to the Enterprise and their crew.

Thus also the reason that I gave Optimus a different Uniform, as I headcanon that one to be a formal uniform for important meetings, such as meetings with higher ups/sponsors etc. as the Autobots where several outnumbered and had rarely any resources by hand, so I guess they were bound to ask for help by more influential people. Here however it’s shown that the meeting didn’t go as well as planed, wich is taking a toll on poor Optimus.
