Question, is he impersonating one who fought in the civil war?

I see. Now let's wait for the SJW army to start the assault

You're a little too late for that wave.
The people who did confront me about it, e'en though I don't fully agree with them, were very articulate and able to carry a civilized conversation. So that much is cool, at least.

Unlike most of them? I mean, yeah the confederate states did have slaves and they did twist scripture, but they had their reasons.
Sjw continue to say confederates don't think African-Americans are people... While the sjw supports abortion because the baby "isn't a living human"

The Confederates who actually fought (not the politicians) did so primarily for States' rights. Sources and trends in nature indicate that slavery would've gradually died-out, as it had, in the North, in the South, given enough time to industrialize. Forcing things to change so quickly resulted in deplorably unneeded bloodshed.
There's so much self-contradiction in that SJW movement. Whenever I debate anybody, the most I ask is that they don't contradict themselves.

Exactly. The north wanted the south to change off the bat. Only if the sjw knew that

It's like anything else with humans involved. Let certain things change on their own, gradually using reason and morality as a guide. Trying to force a free people to do something quicker than they're ready for it will, indeed, cause some serious-ass conflict.
After the war, as the South had not been given time to industrialize and their agriculture was now damaged, the South faced some deplorable economic hardship and a lasting bitterness. Oh man, bitterness. Forcing people to change too quickly also results in bitterness!
Just look at that whole sexually deviant marriage thing. The Feds were convinced, by the SJW's, that the queers were being so mistreated, here! The Fed'rals made the ruling happen so quickly and against much of the People's will. Now, anti-queer sentiment is as big as ever.
The political Left seems to just love inciting hatred among any given population.
History... it has lessons to teach. We'd best listen n' learn.

Agreed, but a lot of people want to rewrite history, and change our coarse in life

Do they really want to force us to fight for what we know is right instead of using evidence, reasoning and appeals to morality to secure peace and harmony?

They'll just rebuke the evidence and reasoning to make sure their right.

Not exactly. It's more like he's trying to be like an original American.
The title is a reference/ allusion to a flag from The American Revolution.

Joe's no officer, though. He's just some patriotic fella who's fascinated in bladed things.

Yeah. One time, a YouTube channel known as "Skallagrim" (he reviews swords and stuff) got an sjw. Skallagrim said he didn't find the katana an interesting weapon, and was called racist because of it -_-

Oh,... we're getting back to SJW's? Ok then.
The word "racist" has pretty-much lost its original meaning, in recent years. It can be applied, it seems, to anyone who voices a less-than-favorable opinion (or even a fact) about something that has anything to do with a non-Anglo culture.

Yeah, agreed. And I didn't mean to bring back the sjw...
Anyways, back to the swords. There's a lot of controversy over swords and their myths

Yeah. A lot of people say swords weigh 10 pounds at least... Which is not true. The long sword can weigh as low as 2.5 pounds
