I'm still choosing what age would be best for the comic. But for now I would say around 12 but It is not definite. The story is still a bit loose.

I don't think so. Furry and anthro requires drawing human anatomy.
I just draw normal animals
and I think you have anatomy skills.

In my opinion human anatomy is easier to draw than canine or feline anatomy, we just get more used to it.
If you practice I'm sure you can draw them. Animation isn't as hard as you think if you keep it simple,
you will be surprised how far you can get simply with pen and paper.
