The horse holding a syringe is enough, but for Nick to want to run away and reference the Spanish Inquisition is just too good. XD

That's actually been a long running idea that I've had as well.
He hates hospitals, though his mother is a nurse.

That's interesting! I've had her figured as a librarian or teacher myself, but nurse I like too.
Though, does he hate hospitals despite his mother being a nurse, or because she's a nurse? Maybe she's very fussing ^^

Hmm... I think it has to do with me working at one and hating needles. But for him, likely because she's fussy. ^_^
Seriously, hospitals are terrifying and seeing a syringe that big would make anyone run for their lives.
They say "Don't worry, I'm a doctor.", but what I hear is "Run while you still can!".

Tracy: "Now all I'm gonna give you is little shot..."
Nick: "That's a LITTLE ONE?!"
Tracy: "Hm, maybe little above average, but I promise you, it's not the size that counts, it's where you stick it."
*Nick bolts and disappears down the corridor*
Tracy: "Oh boy, there goes another one... Good thing that these old hooves got some horsepower in them left. Might as well take his temperature while I'm at it."
*Tracy trots after Nick with the syringe in one hand and thermometer about the same size as a cricket bat under her arm*

I often imagine some mistake where a mammal was prescribed something either for a larger or smaller sized mammal.

Donna Brie: "But with that, I'm gonna turn into a water balloon!"
Tracy: "Hardly. Balloons pop, bodies don't."
