...I always hated the fact that the "baby" episode happened with Valerie instead of Sam for Danny. I mean, really? Really?
Of course, I was disappointed with the entire Danny x Valerie fiasco if only because it was origionally hinting at Tucker x Valerie...and then Tucker's character took a hit, losing screen time for the Danny x Sam pairing.
Honestly, it would have been a much more interesting arc of Tucker having to choose between his crush and his best friend than Danny choosing between his crush and his secret.

Yeah! I hated the fact that Danny and Valerie were paired up together for the flour sack project, instead of Danny and Sam. I never understood why Danny had a love interest in Valerie when she used to bully him.

I don't hate Valerie, I just felt like the Danny x Valerie plot line was stupid. We already had the Danny x Paulina plot line going on. They could have easily went further with that, giving Paulina and by extension, the A-listers more depth than high school stereotypes.
The Valerie x Tucker plot line could have been interesting and a great development for Tucker who had always been a bit selfish and girl obsessed. Choosing between a crush and a friend. Plus it could have eventually led to Valerie joining "Team Phantom".
Of course, Danny Phantom had so many good things going for it if they just made it a superhero show with comedy instead of a comedy with a superhero.

Yeah, that's not happening while Butch is still in charge. He got teased for being poor when he was 10, so he's not ever gonna give a rich/popular kid any depth, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVERRRRRRR, bet on it.

That's why I've always said that Butch should come up with concepts, but the actual story writing, characterizations, and directing should be handled by other people.
His concepts are great. His execution of them? Not so much.
