Whoa what GIMP told me the original XCF of this file was like 2 GB. The fudge.
Although that's hardly surprising.
ANYWAY...recently I've been a bit bored at Uni outside of doing actual project work, so I just decided to do something to fill the odd gaps of time I had. I didn't want to sink time into doing a complex backgrounded picture so I just decided to focus on drawing a few characters. The other weekend me and my brother were playing through all the original Crash games again so I ended up drawing every character from the Naughty Dog-developed ones. I honestly don't think anything I've drawn so far of Crash (HURPDURP ) was worthy enough of showing how much I actually enjoyed those games (Crash 2 is still like my favourite game ever.) So yeah, this is EVERY main character, and don't say I've forgotten any because I haven't (i.e. Crunch etc can go die in a fire.) Part of the point of this was to practice various character styles and also to draw from memory. I felt that by drawing from memory the drawings encapsulated my memories of each character more than copying the original designs, so a few of the details may be off (I think Cortex, Roo and Dingodile and probably so off to be wrong) and obviously I had to check references for some just to make sure I was drawing it right (like Papu's crazy head thing).
Also the whole presentational background thing was mostly an afterthought. I tried arranging all the finished drawings seperately but they wouldn't interlock in any nice-looking way nor did I want any to overlap. Also I didn't want to upload them all seperately. So I just made the four rows like this with the good guys on the top row and everyone else underneath. Roo and Brio look a bit iffy since the drawings had a slight hint of high perspective since I never intended to arrange them in a more 'physical' space.

Row 4: Komodo Moe, Dingodile, Fake Crash, Tiny Tiger, Komodo Joe
