"Let the world shatter and break, for the last knight will rise, and then comes a crimson blaze..."This is the Shattered Cross, Jacob Cross's old body, the body he used during the time he first woke up into this world, and the body that was almost completely destroyed back in the old world, Jacob can become this Cross only during the event known as "Broken Core".
When this is triggered, Jacob has to be either unconscious or vulnerable, and it as to be what his current body is starting to cracking, and that's when Jacob loses connection, and the Shattered Cross comes out to fight, but his fighting style is must different then Jacob's, mush different, his abilities as well, even his Guardian Form as well...
What gave me the ideas to drawing Jacob like this? His old body I mean, what gave me the ideas to draw him like this was form the "Azure Flame Kite", or as some may know his more as "Tri-Edge", and with that, I implied his design to Jacob and was able to make this, but Shattered Cross's movements on the other hand, is somewhat on the lines of a "Nobody", but mostly his Guardian really.

Which is why Jacob hides this part of himself from the world, why it looks human without all the both and restraints holding him back, why he doesn't have a single stitch on his entire body... he lets his old body, along with it's mind sleep...

But I think this is a best example of how he fights.
Both sides are like Jacob, how he draws his weapon, but seeing how the Shattered Cross fights.
One would think twice before taking him on...
