Description
River Tam, from the TV series Firefly and movie Serenity (which you all MUST WATCH, if you haven't I'm going to make you when I get home
). Anyways, I loved the expression on her face when she's being rescued by Simon. Done in about two hours, mechanical pencil on sketch paper, from a screenshot reference. A lot of people tell me Ilook like her. My friends Dan and Iggy actually *call* me River.

That's crazy cool! I haven't seen either (sorry!) and I cannot tell what she's holding onto, but I love the weird hair flow. I mean, it looks like it's blowing in the breeze, yet it also looks solid. Instead of being a fault, it works. Awesome.

hmm when you put tone into an arm make sure the stroke follow the contour of the arm other wise u get that pipish look.
