Wow, where do I start with this one? This piece is of a hand holding a small skull in which a death flower is blooming from it. Drew this right before New Year's 04. I titled it 'Beauty Thus Become' because that's what it represents. Even from something ill and lifeless, a flower has bloomed from it. So you may say, that's not beauty.... but what is beauty? Emily Dickinson, one of my favourite poets, wrote, "Beauty -- be not caused -- It Is --". Must explain why I have weird taste in guys? lol Done with charcoal and chalks. Oh, and the lyric, "Beauty Thus Become" belongs to Tantric, (Mourning).
