It was so dead at PortconMaine that i actually completed a lineart... yep. THAT bad.
Anywho, here's the silver lining.
PLEASE DO NOT COLOR!!

Its definitely well composed. The way you've arranged the elements on the page is very nice. I'd be very careful with lighting if you plan to color this one. You've done such a nice job framing the scene and her face that it'd be a shame to detract from it. I would honestly recommend making this an evening scene rather than daytime to emphasize the contrast of light since the human face tends to capture light very well. Use your own discretion and keep up the good work.

This came out amazing! I was watching you draw this all weekend yet never got to see the finished lineart.
I love her subtle expression and the detail in the background (especially the bottle, don't really know why that pops at me, but it does.) Something random is sticking out at me however...
You may want to move the bottom part of the straw over some. (The part in the liquid it's self) to account for the distortion from the water. If you're feeling gutsy you can also warp out the straw to accentuate the bending of the glass.
It may make it look weird, so it's a toss up between realism and style preferences... my old art teacher just made me do far too many glass studies. >_>

Lovely amount of detail. Although when it comes to a first date like this especially if you really like the girl it seems as if the entire world is blurred out and the only thing you can see clearly is her.

Was it truly that dead at the con? Huh... every time I went near that table (and I found myself doing this more than necessary, I admit), it was packed.
Anyway, another damn good lineart! But then my eyes drifted upward from this box to see that you desire something a bit more than a "wow, that's cool!" Fine, then, I'll see what I can do!
I actually took the time to review common mistakes others make... angle of the eyes, maybe the shoulders aren't cocked right, but nothing I nitpicked really came up bad... after all of that, the best I could come up with is a slight desire for a happier expression. Either that, or perhaps a stronger indication of slight nervousness? Fiddling perhaps?
I'll be lurking around as always, so whenever you crank something out, I'll be here to try and critique it without bursting into random praise!

yeah, portcon was pretty bad compared to other cons. us artists kinda got the shaft by being put in that side room with no signage or even being on the map. it was like we got shoved aside to make way for other stuff. we should've been in the gaming room. right next to the dealers room. that way people could flow in and out of both seamlessly. oh, well. i'll talk to Julie and the rest of staff about it. 95% of the other artists had the same opinion. This was Break-Even-Con 2008.

I have only drawn one picture so far which had good hands..and that was of Hinata from Naruto.
Sadly though, the Anatomy from her waist downwards is rather shocking..so I scrapped it
Great lines, the perspective in the background is very good!
The only thing I noticed a bit was that the thicker lines on the hair seem to draw more focus to that area, over anything else.
I guess though, if you aren't really intending to draw attention to the girl, and away from the background..then the thick lines on the hair are not a bad thing

I totally agree about the hands....and all of jadeedge's work evoke so much emotion, despite the simplicity of the linework. She's absolutely beautiful....and the cleavage....uh let's not go there hahaha.
