Grey Fullbuster from Fairy TailPhew... I'm cutting it close. Anime Boston is only a couple weeks away now!! I only have time for a couple more pieces. :/

i was immediately drawn to this picture i have been a fan of fairy tail for years and have seen a lot of Grey fan art but this picture stands on top of them all in technique vision and impact.
the character position is brilliant and looks as if it drawn by Hiro Mashima himself the colour is amazing, the shading is perfect and the effect on the ice is just superb and really stands out in the picture give the picture a real hint of the fantasy in the manga.
I especially like the look in Greys' eyes because it's a tiny detail yet it adds a huge amount to the picture.
to sum up this picture is one of the best Grey fan art picture's i've seen and deserve credit.

Good job. Very dynamic, the use of perspective on the character and diagonal lines through the ice and snow work towards a very action oriented piece. Wise to add secondary action in the chain, but the necklace feels very static by comparison.
