Description Allow me to proceed to mash every weird thing I like (or as many as I can feasibly fit without breaking from known science too much) into one solar system. I've ignored adding minor moons to the other gas planets of the system, including an ampersand to indicate where where moons would be present but weren't added to this chart for time and clarity. It mostly exists to explain the rather complicated astronomy at play here. (Stay tuned I might decide to edit in at least a few major moons in at a later date)

The Woue system is set within a dwarf galaxy 128 billion light years from earth. The system has an overall higher metallicity than the Sol system.

Fui and Ro

Fui (larger of the two) and Ro (smaller of the two) are the parent stars of the Woue system. The two stars orbit each other in a very tight binary orbit, completing orbits about once every ten hours. The stars' masses are estimated at 0.82 and 0.63 solar masses. Orbiting so closely they essentially function as a single gravitational center of the solar system.

Karbraken

Karbraken may appear at first glance to be a gas giant. But it is in fact a rocky planet, simply one with an extremely thick atmosphere. The world is a sort of "super venus" at well over twenty-five earth-masses and five gees of surface gravity. Around two-thirds of the worlds mass is its huge and highly active iron core creating an immensely powerful magnetic field. Even in its tight orbit around the volatile twin stars, the world is at no risk of losing its atmosphere anytime soon. Powerful auroras envelop the poles nearly constantly. Chemical analysis shows the planet, oceans and atmosphere is made of a roiling mixture of heavy elements, radioactive isotopes and caustic chemicals.

Haulei

Moderately larger and over five times the mass of Jupiter and about 1 and a half times the radius, Haulei is the largest planet in the star system. Astronomers have yet to confirm what compounds result in its exotic coloration. Preliminary research seems to indicate that Haulei lacks the high metallicity present in other bodies in the solar system, which may hint that it is an extrasolar or rouge planet that somehow became captured. Additional evidence points to the planet having slowly moved inwards on its orbit. The planet maintains a complex system consisting of five (six?) major moons and well over 100 identified minor moons.

Agarath

The first and largest moon of Haulei, Agarath is a large, volcanic and mineral-rich moon estimated at around 80% the mass of earth. Tidal stresses regularly trigger vulcanism on the planet. It is believed that the discoloration and dusty halo surrounding Haulei is replenished by particulates from the moon, ejected in impacts or violent volcanic eruptions. The moon has a thin atmosphere consisting mostly of nitrogen and carbon dioxide.

Tori

The second moon of Haulei, Tori is a reddish moon with a modest carbon-dioxide and oxygen atmosphere and large ice caps formed of water ice. Tori is the only other world in the Woue system known to harbor any form of life. With small seasonal lakes and glacial melting leading to liquid surface water which plays host to simple microbial life which can dye the water black. The microbes share some genetic markers and the full spectrum photosynthesis with Woueian life seeming to indicate that life on the two worlds may share a common ancestor. Though it is larger than old-mars and has a more robust magnetic field (as well as being sheltered in the immense magnetosphere of its parent planet.) it is on its death bed, as its atmosphere is slowly being stripped away by solar winds. While the world is larger (around 35% the mass of old earth), it paints a picture of what some scientists think old mars could have looked like in the distant past.

Curio

Curio seems to resemble old-earths moon at a first glance. With lightly colored highlands, darker colored lowland lava flows and a strikingly similar composition overall, though it is many times its mass. Curio orbits within the brunt Haulei's radiation belts. The moon has substantial helium-3 deposits.

Kyte

The runt of the litter, Kyte is a small and dark moon with a huge impact crater on its northern hemisphere. Despite lacking an atmosphere and sitting on the outer edge of Haulei's radiation belts the body is covered in thick volcanic sands and dusty regolith.

Woue

The titular planet of the Woue system, the world orbits on the outer edge of the Haulei system. The fact that its orbit is inclined and that it does not fall within the 1:2:4:8 resonance of the inner moons of the system seems to indicate that it was once an independent planet and that as Haulei moved inward in the system (as it is theorized to have done) Woue became captured into a high orbit. Some say this capture event may have been due to a collision (or series of collisions) with other celestial bodies. Many more of the particulars of Woue have been specifically cited as follows.

Woue has a mass roughly 1.5 times that of earth, A radius of 7,270km, a surface gravity of 1.17g. Like most planets in the system it has an overall higher metallicity with a large iron core and vastly more powerful magnetic field than that of old-earth. Where old earth was around 26% iron by mass, Woue has a core occupying about half its total mass. The binary twin suns and radiation belt of its parent planet of Haulei mean the planet can experience much more radiation, but has a stronger magnetic shield to compensate.

Woue experiences days approximately 29 hours long, corresponding to the 29 hour orbital period of its geostationary moon, Uma. It experiences an approximately 12 Woueian-day "month" in the time it takes to orbit Haulei. A Year is best described as the time it takes Haulei to make one complete orbit around the system's barycenter, happening to be 12 Woueian months, meaning a 'year' is 144 woueian days, or about half as long as an earth-year.

Woue experiences less climatological and seasonal variation than earth and the variation can overall be more erratic based on solar activity, rather than its paltry 12 degree axial tilt.

Uma

Uma is the moon of Woue and submoon of Haulei, massing around four times that of earth's moon. The moon has a reddish iron-oxide crust with a large equatorial canyon and numerous craters and similar composition to Tori. The moon is not only tidally locked to woue, but Woue is tidally locked to it. This means the moon hovers over the same spot on the planet at all times, stabilizing its day length and preventing it from wobbling on its axis, but not inducing tremendous tides.

Katomos and Gantari

(Katomos and Gantari are references to the two most popular systems in gauss my other WB project. Gantariak also had a trojan planet)

The two gaseous jovian planets share an orbit. Katomos is around 2/3 the mass of Jupiter while Gantari is around Neptune-Mass. The two worlds share similar compositions and coloration leading scientists to believe they formed together.

Tausang

A true ice giant at 2.5 jupiter masses, Tausang is mostly ammonia and water. This pale blue-green world features an immense icy ring system, believed to be the result of collisions between icy moons. The world is cocked on a steep angle, possibly due to an ancient impact.

Esper

This distant ice dwarf is slightly smaller in radius and far less massive than Karbraken, made almost entirely of water with a thin layer of hydrogen and helium in its atmosphere.

Deredict

Orbiting retrograde and far out in the system's frontier, This saturn-sized planet seems to be part gas and part ice giant is another of what are believed to be orphan planets captured into the system.
