I decided to go really crazy and have ALL the mothers (who would be included according to the rules of the contest) featured in one huge picture, having tea. And discussing their children, of course.
Please note, and do NOT inform me that animal mothers (Sarabi, Zira, etc.) are not present in this picture. It just wouldn't have made much sense. Mrs. Potts and Duchess are in there just for the lulz.
I had fun doing this, even though it took obscenely long, because I got to watch the movies and listen to the soundtracks for reference and inspiration

The thing about mothers, even the Disney characters, is that they are always on the sidelines. Some who are single can be as firm if not harsh as fathers. While some who are married, blindly, often playing the yang to the yin of the husband.

Oohs me like! I tought you'd add Anastasia's mother, Alexandra even though she's not Disney, but people mistake them for Disney and Kaylee's mom from A Quest to Camelot too! Anyways I reply like it!

I mean, for pressuring you about Disney fathers. What I should've meant to say was, that it is a good time for Disney Mothers to get together and talk about their brave children.

You weren't pressuring me. I just said that because even fathers can be as simple and naively kind, if not sometimes even or hot tempered.

Yes, I know there are a few fathers that are short-tempered, stubborn, and stern (King Triton, Chief Powhatan and George Darling), and kind ones, (Maurice, the Sultan, King Stefan, Quasi's father, and Rapunzel's father)
I know Triton, George, and Powhatan are short-tempered with their children, but they just want to protect them. And deep down, they do love them and wantΒ to do what's best for them.Β

If fathers want whatever they think is best, the best they could do is put their families, especially their kids first above everything else, and not let anything or anyone get between them, ever. The same goes to mothers.
Protecting them is one thing, being causious is yet another, but force, anger, and criticism are not ways of showing care and love.
The real act of parenthood is to listen instead of just talk, pay more attention to families, more time with kids, and not compare themselves and their children to each other.
And it's not just disney characters, let alone the parents, it's everyone, especially here in this place "they" call "the real world".
