Description

Named for the razor-sharp ridge atop its head, the Saber Crest is a powerful species of dragon with the ability to control lightning. Static electricity builds up in their crest, and when the charge reaches a sufficient level, the dragon can fire a wave of plasma. Their head crest is also a lethal weapon in its own right, able to cleave through large rock formations in a single go.

Saber Crests are notoriously hard to train. The species prefers to stay isolated in the mountains, only coming below the clouds to hunt. Only a handful of dragon riders have ever had the honor of flying on a Saber Crest, and those few are revered by their peers.
