Bio: Blaze was one of the dragons that invaded the Bakugan world while Pikachu and Agumon were there. He was first seen when the Digidestined, Dan Kuso, Drago, Tag, Leonidas, Julie Makimoto, Gorem, Alice Gehabich, Hydranoid, Naga, and Masquerade went to Michael Gehabich - Alice’s grandfather’s - lab. He is a fire dragon, with the ability to breathe fire, but also radiate intense heat from most of his scales.

He and a group of four other dragons were attacking it. He was one of two dragons - alongside Burn - to fly away from the lab and try to draw the Digidestined away from it, leaving the other dragons to continue to attack it. After those three dragons manage to make it to Vestroia, the rest of the group join the others in fighting him.

Both he and Burn manage to sneak up on Agumon - in his War-Greymon form - Hydranoid, Leonidas, and Naga - much to their chagrin, as it went against their plan. Blaze shows himself second, trying to come up behind Agumon, but is attacked by Hydranoid before he could. He dips back down into the forest after Burn when Burn is attacked - with everyone else’s attention on him - and Agumon’s back is turned.

He returns after the Bakugan fly off to get the other group, and is seemingly intrigued with the fact Agumon appeared to give himself up. He suggests making quick work of the Digimon, but approves Burn’s idea of hiding him in the forest. Blaze tacks on the idea of lighting the forest on fire with Agumon in it when the others do return, though may or may not believe that that was an idea Burn was trying to convey.

When Agumon successfully stabs Burn, Blaze is understandably stunned. He then gets angry, and attempts to use his fire, but before he can, Agumon manages to get Burn off of him, getting released from the other dragon’s hold.

Blaze immediately shows Burn his anger at the fact Agumon was able to free himself, but shuts up after Burn defends himself. However, Blaze still insists not to take their eyes off of the Digimon. The two dragons and Agumon size each other up for a short while, but soon the dragons begin surrounding Agumon by flying an even amount of distance around him.

This distance shrinks the longer and more they fly around the Digimon, and soon, they both start breathing fire at him, in a coordinated effort. They surround him in a tornado of flames, but Agumon manages to get out of it and away from them using his own attack, Great Tornado.

After Agumon ends up sucking the flames up with him, and throws them back at the dragons, they both dodge. They also manage to avoid an attack from Drago, as he and the others manage to reunite with Agumon. When Burn is then struck by Pikachu, Blaze shows concern for him. He is then struck by Leonidas’ attack, and subsequently grabbed by Drago.

He eventually manages to get out of Drago’s grasp long enough to seemingly start igniting the tops of the forest’s trees with flames. He soon manages to reunite with Burn in the forest. When the other dragon insists Blaze leave without him, Blaze refuses, and affirms his loyalty to his brother. Both dragons subsequently get attacked by Pikachu.

Blaze plucks Pikachu off of Burn when the mouse targets his brother, but only ends up getting zapped himself, his lack of burning hands compared to Burn proving to be a weakness. Shortly after, he’s struck by an attack by Drago, drops Pikachu, and is temporarily incapacitated. Agumon used this to his advantage when he lifted the dragon up.

The dragon remains incapacitated, even as the Digidestined and Bakugan discuss how to dispose of him. However, he wakes up upon one of his wings being smashed through by Gorem’s hammer. After roaring in agony, he used all of his energy to hit Agumon with a powerful blast of heat from his scales, in a last resort attack.

This works to make Agumon let go of him, but with his one wing destroyed, he’s completely unable to fly, and enters freefall, hurtling towards the ground. Though the impact of the fall probably would have killed him, Reaper ends up doing fatal damage by throwing his scythe at him, managing to slash the dragon’s neck. Blaze subsequently turned to smoke and died.
