Lol, anyway, this was originally a doodle in the corner of my Western Civilizations II notes from a couple of days ago (love that class... awesome professor, too), but I decided I liked it enough to keep, so tonight I scanned it, inked it, slapped on some color... then it turned into this XD
Potential ME3 spoilers below; I vaguely talk about a few of my thoughts on the ending in the small print.
It's scenes like this that makes me forget the ending even exists as part of the game because it's just so completely out of place from the rest of the game, imo (not the only reason I dislike it, mind you). It's like I'm not even talking about the same thing.

I loved Garrus's romance. He's so awkward to begin with in ME2 and "studying" those earth vids really improved his confidence.
Thane, however, I was a little disappointed. The three scenes of his romance were so awesome. But afterwards, I don't know, I was hoping someone would say, "Shepard...I'm so sorry about Thane." Or at least Kaidan would say something more after my Shepard got back together with him. Just the "So you and that assassin.." and "I know why you cheated.." didn't cut it for me.

Yes, I loved how his romance was developed! He's very awkward and nervous in ME2, which carries over a bit into their reunion in ME3, but you can see he gets more comfortable and confident as ME3 goes on... It's so sweet and so well written, in my opinion.
I haven't seen any specifics about the Thane romance yet (one of my Sheps romances him, so I want some of it to be a surprise), but I have heard of that... I don't get why they wouldn't have anyone acknowledge that afterwards, like they did with the other characters, especially if you romanced him. >.<

I know. It felt weird that my Shepard went right back to Kaidan in the next scene.
I guess I want Kaidan to be a little more offended that Shep cheated on him.

Yeah, the way Kaidan reacted to my Shepard getting with Garrus, felt...kind of awkward with how okay with it he was, lol. I didn't expect him to get in a fist fight with Garrus and I liked that I could still be friends with him, but it's true that Kaidan's reaction felt strange, I think.

Mr. Keener's voice acting is just...unf. I swear, I hope that guy never come across me, I might ask for a headbump. XD

Aside from this being one of the most lovely scenes i nthe whole game, Keener and Hale jsut nailed the characters and I could listen to them over and over again....

They really did! Their performances played off of each other so well, even though they didn't record together. XD

The Citadel scene made me tear up, becaue it takes a hellish amount of talent to convey such emotions through voice only ;_;

Pfft, I finally got that warning for the first time in ME2 a couple weeks ago; I actually had to force myself to stop talking to Mordin until I got far enough in the game... XD

Agreed. Garrus (and Liara from what I've heard) are the two most well-developed romances in the game, and for good reason.

From what I've heard, Liara got a little too much attention, overall, by comparison to other characters in general, lol. But yeah, I've heard her romance development was well done, and I thought the Garrus romance was very well written (and acted).

Yeah, I think Bioware was pushing Liara as the main love interest, which makes some sense. It's just a shame that other romances got pushed out the window. I mean, Thane's situation is understandable, but they throw a big FU to Jacob romancers, and Miranda/Jack have virtually no screentime.
I'm just glad that Garrus and Tali (and supposedly Kaidan, Ashley has little development) get well-developed in their own rights. I love how Jennifer Hale sounds like she's going to cry in the Goodbye Scene with Garrus.

The disappointing thing about that is that Casey Hudson stated that there wasn't supposed to be a canon for the ME series. I don't mind having a canon too much, though, so outside of that, I think if they had to choose one, it'd be Liara. From what I heard, Thane's romance wasn't acknowledged very well in terms of writing. The Jacob romance... oh gosh, I feel so bad for his romancers... Miranda and Jack had a few good moments, I'd heard, but yeah, not enough screentime.
Surprisingly, I haven't heard many specifics about Kaidan and Ashley, so I don't know much about theirs. I've heard both good and bad for them. I'm glad Garrus and Tali got to be developed as they were, but I still feel bad for the other ME2 romances. And yes...! Jennifer Hale's acting in the goodbye scene was what made me cry when I played that part!
