Yes, when I want a CSS journal...

You can see the basic code here: [link] This code is for [link] 's journal. You can see some examples at his journal too. You can edit the code, move things up and down.

But this is only image I know there're places that's hard to code

Hehe.. will you use it more if you get to make it pretty?

Weee! I just started playing with mine to get a feel for it, I'm going to play with it some more later. I made mine to dark and plain.

Yeah, and I've never coded before... so its.... interesting. Hopefully I can come up with something half way decent

Well, my reply disappeared ><

If you use Dreamwaver, you don't have to type all the code and it's useful for learning tags. If you want to ask me about something, I'll always there.

Wonderful DA....

Oh, so you can use Dreamweaver to code the journal? Do I just open a new CSS page then and it will help me that way?

See, I'm already abusing you for info! LOL

What version of Dreamweaver do you have? I use Dreamweaver 8 and I prefer to type But it's better with other versions.

Yes, you don't have to type. You copy contain in css page between in a new page. Or copy and paste all this after delete new page's code:

Untitled Document

Paste css file between

After that, you go to Text-->CSS style. In DW8, you go to New--> Advanced and chose the tag you want to edit. In other version, you go to Edit and it'll very easy. You can work with them like format in Word.

I have version 8.

Oh good sweet lordy, that is awesome. Thank you so much my dear! *pets your sexy brain*

Alright, I shall try then and see if I totally mess it up or not

^^ How do your journal design? DW8 is more tricky than other versions with formating. If you want to test what you're doing, View source and copy the source code of your journal in between tabs. It'll copy the journal for you.

Code is always fun to play

*A side note: Moonlight Flower won another 2 awards. I updated the Awards page, you can see them there. ^^

I haven't really decided yet. I'm not sure what kind of image I want, so I haven't started yet. Probably something more on the simplistic side.

But in the CSS box, there are no tags. There are no html tags at all.

Hehe playing with code isn't my idea of fun Coding takes a patient person, which I am not.

Oh wow, thats awesome *runs to look*

Hehe, journal's theme depend in your mood. There's no need to rush.

It's not CSS box. You view your DA page source to copy your journal's code to paste it in tag in new page in DW. ^^' Journal's code in DA page begins with

and ends before
(You can press Ctrl F to find the tags).

Maybe it's just mine. The big reason for me want a CSS journal is "I want to have a new toy to play with!!" Childish me.

tomoe2005 In reply to jadeT [2006-10-02 15:18:49 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I guess so

Ah I was talking about where you enter your code in the journal CSS box. It tells you not to enter any of those there. Only the customizations.

Jade needs a new toy? Hehe... and a free new toy is always more fun

Ahh, you only copy the code between
