Description
My first dip into the full fantasy realm, I added all the elements I believed it would take. So we have to suspend the critical eye for but a moment & glance about all the wondrous oddities I have felt the need to include, & these are...Mandatory bad babe, over accessorized, & in a somewhat sensual posture? Check!
Great Sword of Smiting & Slaying? Double Check! She has one & so does the undead warrior back there!
Obligatory Undead Knight of Unknown Origins? Check!
Do we have the magical weird hybrid creature type thing? Check!
Dragons... do we have at least a dragon present? & Check!
So, there we have a fantasy image done in 1993. I was quite happy with this at the time with all the mistakes, errors, & silliness presented, I did so to the best of my limited abilities. I am glad I sort of got better... LOL, yeah. Art is not easy as an illustrator. Well, at least not for me.

Your works in general look much better inked like this. You should do that with more of them. It makes it pop more and looks cleaner.

Thank you... Inks do have their place in the way of things. I just was always afraid of ruining the pencils beneath as I had frequent ink blotch, spills, or smears due to impatience. Maybe digitally I can find the courage where I faltered with traditional mediums... It is my hope.

Well yeah, all it takes digitally is a little brightness and contrast tweaking to make a pencil image look good and well inked. I do that all the time myself. But when I do ink things manually, I'll just do a bit at a time, like a third, let it sit while I game a bit or watch something, then do another chunk after I'm sure it's good and dry. Still get smears every once in awhile, but not as much as when I first started inking stuff.
