Description

Cygnus, still petrified by his frightening experiences with magic, confides in his childhood companion. Baely is alarmed to learn that his friend does not think so highly of the magic he and his family admires. Cygnus reveals that he is so afraid of magic that he is considering leaving Taika to join the warmongers in the west. Baely has heard the rumors about Stonehaven and does not approve of his choice. Their conflicting ideals about magic puts the two old friends at odds. Baely tries to reason with Cygnus, but his efforts only seem to push Cygnus further away.
