As some of you know, I'm a really big fan of the video game "Indigo Prophecy." So I decided to draw the cover of the game with a micron pen (tip size .005) and the small amount of coloring was doing with Pentel markers.Here's a reference picture if you want to see what the original cover looks like: Indigo Prophecy box cover
The guy on the cover is the main character, his name is Lucas Kane. He is a murderer but also innocent at the same time. Under hypnosis he is forced to commit a strange cult-like murder. Through out the game you have to evade the police who are right on your tail, cover your tracks and try to find out what's REALLY going on.
I have only played this game on the PS2 but I believe it's also available for PC and XBox. Never have I played a game that featured such epic storytelling as this one has...

Oh my god! Really? That's so cool!!! I hope you like it as much as I do, it's just so different from every other game I've ever played. The unique game play felt so fresh and good.

Ooooo... that battle was the coolest! Although there's many good ones still to come! Pretty soon though the storyline is going to get kinda weird, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Strangely, for me the most stressful part was the very begining when you have to escape the diner after the murder.

Yeah, that's bound to happen on your first play through when you don't know yet of all the little things that are possible. Did you ever make him eat the pain killers in his appartment bedroom and then drink the gin in the kitchen? You'll die of alcohol poisoning! It's fun to run around drunk though if you don't eat the pain killers. The screen goes all wibbly!

no I did'nt do that...
I made him take pills..but he read the label saying it was bad to mix it with alcohol..so when I made him drink gin I avoided the pills...I just made him sleep

I did it because I wanted to see what would happen, it was definately a unique video game death. I really like all of the button timing stuff in the game, what about you? It took a while for me to get the hang of it but I quickly found it to be really enjoyable!

When Lucas talks to Tiffany in his appartment, did you ever reply to her in such a way that she asks you to play the guitar for her? I don't know if you ever got to play the guitar for her, but right after that if you try and kiss her she asks you to "take her to the bedroom." Hehehe, that was an interesting reward for button timing!
I think the button timing battle that I enjoyed the most though would have to be against the cyber ticks in the office. But it's pretty hard to choose a favorite because I love them all...

Well now you know about it! I suggest whenever you decide to play through the game again to practice using his guitar when he's alone in his appartment. Then you'll be ready for when she asks you to play it for her. I often just practiced on his guitar for a long time just so I could get in a lot of practice with the button timing and not worry about dying.

I hope you get the chance to play this game someday, it's one of my top favorites. I'm sure you could find it used on amazon.com for really cheap or at a used video game store like I did (got it for $10).

Oh my god, this game has one of the greatest storylines in video game history! Of course it's good! I wouldn't make fan art for it if it wasn't. I wouldn't describe it as a video game though, it feels more like a highly interactive movie. It's very different from anything I've ever played and I love it for that exact reason. The game feels like a mix of the tv show CSI and the Matrix. I hated the sequals of the Matrix, but this game did exactly what the Matrix should have done!

love the black and white backgroung effect with the blood as the only colour 
it reminds me of a new game that just came out in England called "Haze" in that you get these weid fazes where your screen goes grey and you see blood on your hands and squirting out of peoples wounds. its really freaky, but some how incredibly awsome at the same time

I've seen Haze for sale here in America too. I thought about getting it but new games are just soooo expencive... Indigo Prophecy is so cool though, I was hooked after just playing a few minutes of it! It's available in Europe too under the title "Fahrenheit." The main character Lucas Kane is awesome and I love his side of the story, it's fun watching him halucinate and freak out.

It's beyond cool! You get to play as both the murderer and the cops, so while you are trying to escape the law you are also trying to track yourself down. It's pretty cool seeing both sides of the story.

Well something sorta like that. The story switches back and forth to the murder and the cops point of view. As the murder you must cover your tracks as fast as possible, but as the cops you must find evidence that the murder over looked. There's a lot of CSI investigative work you must do (which is surprisingly fun and satisfying), but there's also a LOT of incredible action and surprising twists in the story.

Wow, that would be so cool! I only have seasons 1-7 of Red Dwarf on VHS (I recorded it when I was a very little girl) and I'm borrowing season 8 on DVD from my friend ~Saya1984 . She's currently borrowing my copy of the video game Silent Hill 2, we swapped stuff when she came to visit a few days before we went to Sakuracon.
