I wonder if Stan would get into much trouble (not that he'd care) with the time police if he used a Do-Over to keep himself from breaking Ford's perpetual-motion machine.

I'm getting so sick of this Ford hate. Let's beat up an old man with a traumatized mental disorder. Sounds great. That'll really solve his trust issues! I do feel bad for Mabel and Dipper but..... I just can't handle this hate.

Ford is angry that Stan would activate the portal but considers his worship and dealings with Bill to be okay. He gets what he deserves.

Thing is he doesn't. He keeps showing that he thinks he was stupid and thoughtless, and is trying to undo all the damage that he knows he did. And then Stan kicks him into the portal and brings him back despite Ford warning Stan not to. What was he supposed to think?

Thing is he does. Ford told Dipper that he knew reading the hieroglyph that summoned Bill was stupid because there was also a warning not to. If he wanted to undo the damage he should have listened to Fiddleford and dismantled the portal. Ford has no right get mad at Stan for abusing technology when he keeps dangerous artifacts like the infinity sided die in cardboard boxes and refuses to secure them properly. What he was supposed to think was he should have never summoned Bill in the first place and started all this by agreeing to help build the portal.

First of all, I appreciate your point of view, and thanks for sharing. I don't like all the hate Ford is receiving either.
Secondly, if you had looked through any of my other work, you'd know that I don't hate Ford at all. Far from it. In fact, he's one of my favourite characters. He's intriguing and complex and entertaining as hell. This comic is just venting my frustration at his lapse in judgement. And he's not the only one I feel that about, he's just more fun to draw, because he is so flawed.
So please, do share your opinions with me, I'm always fascinated to hear what other people have to say. But please, don't presume that one little comic reflects my one and only opinion on a character I actually quite like.

I really don't HATE Ford, but I hate a lot of the things that he says, and he acts super ungrateful all the time, and he also in a way tried to split Mabel and Dipper up, and kind of dissed Mabel. But I don't hate the person himself, I just hate it when he says stupid stuff like that. I try to avoid hating anything, characters and ppl alike.
