Thanks for the critique! And it's ok, I understand haha. I probably would've given myself about the same Originality score; I'm not that creative with my shots. xD Which part of the BG is distracting? The other flowers or the variance of blue tones? Oh and btw, that's not the sky; it was actually a bunch of people's jeans LOL. I just got lucky that a group of people happened to stand behind my subject and give it a nice BG. (: I'm glad you liked the colors anyways though.

Please forgive me before hand, this will be my first critique.
This photograph was uniquely captured, focusing on an entire bushel of flowers, instead of a popular choice of growing closer and using a macro function.
The colours is what I personally believe makes this photo so unique. On the colour wheel, green and red are complementary colours. To capture the blue in the background was an amazing idea. It ties the photograph together. With the different shades of blue, the colour gives the photo a different angle, rather the background be a simple white, or the colour green, like most flower photographs come as.
It is a simple photo, but I keep having to scroll back up to give it another look.

I have NO idea, but it was either part of a bush, or growing out of some flower pots, if I remember correctly. (my family and I were eating at an Panamanian outdoor restaurant when I saw some of these along a path's edges and corners, so it's probably some plant that can be bought cheaply)
