Desmosian= of House Desmos of the Aviankyn race
Cataphracts (sounds a lot like cataracts haha) are armored horsemen during the classical ages, I think. I've always liked them so I named the Desmosian warseers as cataphracts. Crimsol, as I said in some journal la while back is the soul made manifest and turned into usable energy. Each creature has only one soul so only that amount of Crimol energy. the bigger the creature the bigger the soul, the more potent the crimsol. But the Desmosians found a way to "put more soul" into their bodies thus giving them limited shape-changing abilities to account for the "unnaturally high amount of crimsol energy" within them. ' These Desmosians are called Warseers. They are divided by levels. Cataphracts being the lowest level. The have many mutation/ shape-changing abilities, the most obvious one is the weaponization of their limbs and wings.

That bird there, turned his wings into floating blades. His left arm a long crimsol sword and his right arm a crimsol bow. ...
these guys would be the prominent foes during the 2nd half of my story (which owes a lot to the creator of the Clandon, though he doen't draw much nowadays).

These guys are generally 6ft tall(head height, add a few more inches if you consider their wings.) Not so sure of the length of their wingspan though. that thought has just came to me.
