In so many years since the release of the movie, NO ONE ever even tried. You can find a few models here and there, but that is it.
So, I took that onto me, and here we are. I'm designing a plane( and building it). Check out my drawings.

Amazing how such a simple pic can have so much character. Amazing perspective and composition, and I love how desolate the parasol and deck-chair look on the each under that windy, cloudy sky.
