Oh wow~ This is really cool. I'll be applying for FIDM soon, I can't wait. Though I don't know if you have an answer to this, areΒ there a good amountΒ of FIDM students that areΒ into the cosplay scene/hobby? I'll be moving to LA and it'll be nice to be able to meet other cosplayers at me desired college.

There is a bit more people into the cosplay scene at FIDM then I had expected.. but then again I didn't expect any so finding a group here and there was awesome! Most of them go on and do the theater or film costuming programs, so if you'd like to meet more of the students into cosplay I'd recommend finding the ones interested in following those majors. Where are you moving to LA from? If you have a hard time finding people into that scene, I attend Anime Expo, Wondercon, Comic-con and so on and wouldn't mind showing you around and introducing you to people that are into all that. Good luck in the future though!

Oh wow. Yes! I am actually going to go FIDM in order to major in costume design. I will be coming from Philadelphia, Pa. I have attended all the major conventions here like New York Comic Con, Otakon, and small anime conventions in the area, though I've always been interested in the California cosplay/convention scene more. That'll be awesome if you were to help me meet people, and thank you for answering my question.c:
