I suppose this is as uncluttered as you can get in woodland. Very nice, I love the contrast between the bright green of the beech tree and the darker green of the bluebell leaves. Nice warm glow too.

yeahh first bluebell shot of the season can't believe how early they are this year, fully a month early compared with last! I do like this shot, it has a certain charm to it that seems to be growing the more I look at it... the trees are nicely spaced, the light is very tasty, and it's an interestingly fresh composition... while I love the colour harmonies and the baby greens of the leaves I'm just not sure I'm sold on the inclusion of that baby tree compositionally, it seems rather to 'block' the left side of the frame to me probably nit-picking though, the shot does kinda work

Thanks for your considered comments I appreciate the thoughts. I feel much the same way about the composition here as you do. But like you I think it works. And it's the best one I have so far this year simply because it is fresh in it's feel.
