Thank you very much for your excellent critique. Its been some time (more than a year!) since I painted this piece, so I would probably do a lot of the details differently now :0)

A very nice idea to make the dragon part of the landscape with rocks and moss covering or forming its body. The water looks turbulent, the shadowing is rich and the gnarled tree is the icing on the cake.

I love the textures in this, and the way you have the dragon blending in, and yet.... they really are part of the land, aren't they?
It's a shame that you don't have too many waterfalls, but I guess that just makes the experience of when you can see one all that more amazing. ^^

Oh, wow, that's freaking epic looking. I like how you made it look like something you would actually find out there in the middle of some random mountain range. I live in the Smokes, so waterfalls are kind of a common thing around here, but I could just sit and watch one for hours. Anyway, kind of rambling, awesome picture, I love it.

Thank you very much. Denmark is a very flat country! Our highest "mountain top" is only 180 meters above sea level (and it is called "Sky Mountain" haha!)...so you can imagine that big water falls are quite impossible to have here :0)

Thank you! I have a secret dream of spending my senior years in a secluded spot near a water fall. But the constant sound from the water might be annoying in the long run, haha ;0)
