Done for 's Valentines Day Date Contest.Not sure if I'll enter it, though...I want to try something different. I wanted to finish this first.
Akimichi Chouji and Yamanaka Ino are from NARUTO by Kishimoto Masashi.

Oh, I know the feeling so well. ShikaIno really annoys me, because there's absolutely no romantic feelings, it's been hinted at like, once, and that was before Shikamaru even properly met Temari.
Well, I like SasuNaruSasu, but not because they argue. They really had great development, and the pairings' really complicated and sad. D: I also like GaaLeeGaa a BIT (not so much that I'm obsessive) because, well....Lee calls Gaara, Gaara-kun. xD It just makes me giggle. I don't like KakaIru (big IruAnko/KakaSaku fan). It's not...Good for me. o-o
And yes, I love Shika and Tema's chemisty. Because Temari's like his mother, and ya know, history repeats itself, and all that jazz. BD And yes! Ino loves Chouji deep down! VENT OUT THAT ANGER! >D

I just watched a little of the episode that follows the Sasuke Retrieval Arc and I was shocked to find that, when Ino sees Chouji at the hospital, she brings him a basket of fruit. He's at first surprised that it was Ino who visited him, and not Shikamaru, and once the shock wears off he turns to the camera and thinks excitedly, "Maybe big-boned guys are in now!" while blushing.
God damn I love this pairing more than I should.

Yeah...it's stupid, but during the filler episode starring Naruto (as Naruko for a good deal of it) and Ino, I was sort of happy...because Ino admitted to Naruto that she thinks Chouji's weight is alright because his body type is necessary for Akimichi techniques...but it was just a filler so it doesn't count.
And ShikaIno? They just...don't like each other. That's where it ends. They're teammates. He's lazy. She's bitchy. That's like putting Sasuke with Naruto just because they argue, or Lee with Gaara because they were randomly assigned to fight each other, or Kin with Sakura because Kin beat her up, or (the list goes on...) or Vegeta with Goku because Vegeta hated Goku, or Iruka with Kakashi because they got into a fight about whether or not the kids were ready for the Chuunin Exam, or Taichi with Yamato because they fought a lot, or... (the list goes on some more).
I think that Shikamaru and Temari showed great chemistry. When they fought, there was no animosity. They were playing a game, and then later, after the Gaara/Orochimaru/Dead Sarutobi fiasco they stayed in contact whenever Temari visited, and she even visited him in the hospital (Note-->INO SAW CHOUJI BEFORE SASUKE OR SHIKAMARU!)
Venting feels kind of good.

They're not a very popular couple. Ino is usually put with Shikamaru, Sasuke, or Sakura. Chouji is usually left out of pairings because his weight makes him unappealing to shallow female fans. Actually, I think that Chouji's most popular pairing might be with Shikamaru.
