A basic Emoticon tutorial. I'm sure it's pretty similar to the rest, but this is how I make mine!

It's just a tutorial, so anyone can view it. If they want to use an emoticon, they'd just have to make one. Hope that's what you're meaning!

well, actually I mean like, if you make an emoticon, how do you use it. But how do you use it if you are not a member of DA. I don't have a subscription.

Yeah I wanted to start making my own emoticon because i seen some great ones in here. I thought it would be cool to put stuff like that in my gallery. I wanted to try something this that was easy. Thanks for the help. Oh and when i post my emoctions will other people be able to use them.

This is really awesome. The cropping thing can be a little unuseful at times making it to big but not cropping can make it to small. But anyways. Its awesome. And by chance if you have any information on animation on mac please tell me. * favorites *

Helpful and uncomplicated, however I've asked around and have yet to get an answer on the following question perhaps you can help me: Is there any way to grab the entire emoticon (all the layers) and move (the eyes mouth hands body) as a whole? That would really help me on my way to making my emoticons walk, jump, etc. across the "stage" thank you for your consideration in advance.

As far as your question goes, if you want to move the entire thing, you can just highlight all of the layers (Ctrl+click on each) and then press Ctrl+T. That will pop up the free transform tool and allow you to move it as a whole.

If you use "fill", it will get outside the lines. It's best to just color it in with the pencil tool.
Takes a little longer, but looks much better.
