sorry bro really i dont know but is easy , only draw a spline with the form , xtrusion and apply a hypernurbs (cinema 4d o meshsmooth-turbosmooth in 3dmax) now u only connect some edges and finish good luck!!!!

How do you do this? D: I downloaded a demo onto my PC, and I can only figure out how to manipulate primitives. xD

i never had demo-version and i don't know his limitations mate!!!
the first get the complete-version !!!
basically is a spline with nurbs - xtrusion , scalated(i don't know to say it in english ),rotated ,etc..
in demo-version sure u can draw a spline ,SURE!!!
In google , youtube , etc... there is a million of them!!!!

mmm the first soz 4 my english ;D , wireframeolygon mesh? if so only a formation of atoms, not as it is called in the English version cinema 4d, u do object's father and cylinder radius=esphere radiuserfect polygon mesh!!! ;D There are several ways to do this but I think this is the easiest. I hope I helped a little, thx bro!!!!
