Drawn as if the Pokemon characters aged in real-time and it's been just about 13 Years since the Pokemon anime started.Yes, that is 'older' Misty (Kasumi) and Delia looking at Ash's (Satoshi's) baby pictures. XD
*EDIT* I guess this is classed as Ash/Misty shipping
*EDIT* Apparently I can't work out fictional characters ages right -_-
I love Pokemon fan-art that shows the characters aging in real time. Meaning this year (2010) Misty/Kasumi would be 23, Ash/Satoshi 23 and his mother would be 41.
I wanted to do one too and at the same time address some critque I've gotten about how I draw breasts (that being I draw 'balloons on the body' instead of 'mounds that are apart of the body').
People usually draw 'adult Misty' having hair similar to her sisters shown in the anime, but I've always preferred the GSC games version of her hair.

Hey, if you're still active, can I use this as a cover for a story i'd like to post here? It has a scene of Misty and Delia seeing pictures of Ash, so it would be fitting.

You should consider eventually giving misty children (toddler age, tween age, teen age, and young adult age)Β and therefore giving Delilah grandchildren,Β misty grandchildren (toddler age, tween age, teen age, and young adult age)Β therefore Delilah great grandchildren. And then misty great grandchildren (toddler age, tween age, teen age, and young adult age) and therefore great great grandchildren and with each scene make them old enough to live long enough to see them grow up.

Considering how much older the characters are here, and the topic which they are most likely discussing considering the photo album, I wouldn't at all be surprised if this was at a point in time when Misty and Ash started getting VERY close with each other (I'm going to assume as she is depicted in the image that they're not married to each other yet, even if they are together at this point, which I doubt they aren't considering Delia's whipping out the baby pictures), and Delia starts becoming hopeful for some grandchildren at some point in the future.
Honestly, this is a really nice idea.
I'm almost saddened that, since the characters have never really aged in the anime', that we'll most likely never see a scene like this. I'm also a bit annoyed because the series has unfortunately become somewhat tedious as a result (at least to me).
I do have to say that the lines put on Delia do perhaps make her look older than 41 here. But then some people do end up showing signs of age quicker than others...
I really like Misty's blush as she's looking at the album as well. And her appearance overall is actually very well done, it's pretty much exactly what I'd expect her to look like in her 20s. Even her clothing is nicely thought of... she's still wearing her traditional colours, but in clothes with a much more mature, or casual sense. And I notice that she's still wearing an outfit in which she can bear her midriff with.
About the only thing I don't like is the implication that Pikachu is dead... but then it has been pointed out below that Pikachu's can live for a rather long time in spite of being rodents, so unless the cause was something else that part of the image can be overlooked. Otherwise, this feels like a completely plausible future for the characters should they ever be allowed to age.

Yes, but in hindsight, someone pointed out there was a 60 year old Pikachu in the one episode about surfing, so it's rather inaccurate >_<
