The year is 2217
Mahuika, like everyone else living in the new post-scarcity paradigm, can manifest anything she needs instantly. This future consciousness linked technology looks like magic to us. With such technology, she could just float up to her waiting spacecraft, or simply teleport aboard , but it's a beautiful evening, so she chooses to walk. Using her imagination, a glass staircase appears before her and leads up to her ship.
Humanity is enjoying a golden era of peace and space exploration, and has graduated to the stage necessary to allow general interaction with advanced ET civilizations. Mahuika is currently working with other ETs on a project involving contact with a less evolved civilization which is going through the dangerous nuclear technology phase of their development. Mahuika was invited to participate because Earth humans are much closer in historical, technological and spiritual terms to people of that troubled world than the other beings involved in the contact initiative.
For all the advanced technology, people in the new paradigm live in balance with nature. Psychedelic (such as Ayahuasca and DMT) journeys and meditation are practiced. Centralized governments no longer exist. Consciousness has evolved from national to universal consciousness.

By the way, I have edited and toned down the colour tones a bit because I thought the sky and her suit appeared to vibrant and not in keeping with the colours of early evening as in the original description.

It is a projection of divine image on earth, I heard this from somewhere, female form is the timeless subject in art. An interesting thing is the idealized male from is explainable with logic why things they way they are, the idealized female form has many things that contradicts logic, it is rather not optimized for its job from a biological point of view, and still we do not fully know why we are attracted to it. I mean in humanity, other species do not have this problem, also humanity is the only animal on earth that sextualize female where other species sextualize male.

You make some very good points. I'm not saying that it is true, but I like the idea that there are female and male energies in nature and everything runs smoothly when they are in balance. For the last 4 or 5 thousand years most of the major religions (I'm not religious at all) have been patriarchal, before that most cultures were matriarchal and honoured the Goddess. I feature women in my visions of the future because I like to imagine that the long suppressed female energy is returning to balance and bring harmony to the human species. I call this the return of the divine feminine. We have endured history, and now let herstory begin and bring a more harmonious and loving chapter to the human enterprise.

lol me too! I've always enjoyed science fiction and erotic goddess like women in science fiction illustrations. Maybe, if I'm honest, that is what influences my work. However I do stand by my assertion that strong women in science fiction Symbolise the return of the divine feminine, which is what will save humanity from self destruction. We have to mature as a species before we travel the stars because the technology involved is so powerful that it could destroy us if we are not spiritually mature enough to wield it. When I use the word spiritual, I'm not talking about religion. I'm talking about being in harmony with people, nature, the universe and oneself through education and meditation in nature.

She looks very beautiful. I think you have a good grasp of the female figure and your rendering skills are superb. I'm living in Mangaland (Japan) and your manga style in this particular picture is of a professional standard. I can imagine an advanced civilisation where people prefer not to wear clothing except for certain ceremonies, and regulate their body temperature using either high technology, consciousness or a combination of both. I can imagine people walking naked through arctic blizzards on ice without feeling in the least bit uncomfortable. In fact, I like to imagine that such advance beings might choose to go back to live in harmony with nature and yet are able to be wherever they want to be in the Universe without using spacecraft or any other visible form of technology. They have a level of connection to each other and the universe that makes browsing the web or Facebook seem like sending and receiving smoke signals by comparison. Perhaps even eating or drinking may be a choice. In short I like to imagine a civilisation so advanced that it is essentially "magic" and were anything they may need appears instantly in front of them, they have the ability to instantly manifest anything they require. Or they can instantly change their form into any creature real or magical (dragon for example). Such a civilisation would have more in common, visually, with the archetypes of fantasy and fairytales than with clunky science fiction.

The aesthetic of her cloth is to be one with her body, it emphasis her body, not dwarf it. In a civilization where they do not need to wear anything, this may be the reason to put something on, not to cover but to show. The things she put on is both functionally and aesthetically part of her body, not an alien object like our cloth. Her armor like outfit can function like her personal spaceship, not as powerful as the one on the background but enough for in and out of atmosphere. She cannot be harmed but her body is still sensitive. She can feel the sensation of contact.
Manifest technology does not work as we expected in 21 century. The thing works in 3 mode, manifest effect, manifest temperery contraption, manifest perminiate installation. The first mode is used most as so follows, their super computer mind determent the optimal course of using this tech. In the real application most individual of such civilization rather chose to work on things them self to customize construct their own stuff with a sense of individuality.
A great potential of such civilization is to interconnect on a large scale without compromise personal bound, this is impossible with our limited resource and mental capacity. We cannot manage a vary large number of us or any thing, without the abstraction that eliminate the sense of bound. Civilization that can do this naturally obsolete any ruling system.

We all currently live in a paradigm of limitation. Limited resources and abilities. However we have huge, almost God-like potential. We are destined for a future in which we have unlimited resources and magical (thanks to consciousness assisted technologies) abilities both on a personal and collective level. Our future starts with imagination, visualisation and intent. So, by doing art, you, me, and other similar minded artists, are bringing such a future closer to manifestation. In other words what we do as artists is important.

Art is the most powerful faith because it do not require faith at all, art is the only thing on earth that can skip through the rational mind beside sex and blood kin. Very interesting comments you make. I think magic is real. I don't think the universe is based on rational laws or physics. It is not a puzzle to be solved by scientists and sociologists. The universe is a living mystery and we are intimately entwined in its workings. Art is an irrational and emotional enterprise and therefore capable of expressing, perhaps subconsciously, the real nature of reality. If the universe is a complexity producing engine as it seems to be, then the human brain is at the cutting edge of what the universe does. Which means that we, ourselves are much more important in the scheme of things than the scientific-rationalists would have us believe. Indeed, my personal inclination is that we are all co-creators of this reality and of our future. Free will, is at the heart of the mystery of being a sentient human being.

Im not sure if magic is real, but there sure thing is it is anit-academic. Academic institute has a habit to hate anything it does not or cannot understand. The is the reason why there is no "educated to be artist". Because no artist thinks like academic, academic thinking is based on quantitative evaluation, artistic spirit is cannot be gaged, cannot be measured, it is not to be understand, only can be felt. Thus such skill cannot be told, cannot be learned, it is always felt. I always get the feeling that learning art is rather learning oneself.

I agree with what you say. Science can only deal with predictable and relatively simple phenomena in nature and in the universe. It can not deal with non tangeable phenomena such as emotions feelings intuition, dreams, premonition inspiration and Love. Things which are important in human lives. However, I think science is a valuable tool. But it should never be our master or a kind of religion which it seems to have become.

The spacecraft can land. However since they are currently contacting a somewhat primitive ET civilization, they are careful not to startle or induce fear in the inhabitants who might mistake them and their craft for supernatural entities or gods. They prefer to keep their craft safely hidden above the clouds. A kind of Star Trek prime directive policy.

Yeah, that makes sense. I think that is why most ET civilizations are choosey to show themselves to us, having some sort of prime directive, and having a minimal impact on our development. Though I think it is the media's general attitude of ridiculing the notion that they are here which keeps most of civilization from even acknowledging their existence.

It was a combination of many factors. Challenging geophysical earth changes. A sufficient number of people woke up to the NWO and its agenda. While this was going on, new technologies such as wind and solar and powerwall storage (Elon Musk's Tesla Energy) undermined the fossil fuel industry and hence the elite. Also many Illuminati and other members of the NWO woke up as well, and then defected and joined with the rest of humanity in bringing free energy technology and other suppressed knowledge into the open. NASA after very recent undeniable discoveries on Mars and Ceres, was forced to come clean about their decades old knowledge of ancient ruins on the the Moon and other bodies in our solar system. Governments were forced to finally came clean about the decades old UFO coverup. People lost faith in centralized governments and created smaller grass roots initiatives and communities such as the Ubuntu Movement (Michael Tellinger). These various groups cooperated and spread. As all this was going on and as a result of the startling UFO and ET reality revelations, people's consciousness on an individual and collective level rapidly evolved from national to global to Universal. The process took from 2015 to 2030. Those were exciting times indeed!

Sightings of UFO's are increasing all over the country, the news started to give it some coverage after hundreds of crop circles appeared simultaneously across the world. The plot rotates around 3 teenage outcasts who consider themselves family. They hear about the sightings and decide to brush it off. But one of them sees a flying saucer.
They decide to look more into the issue and learn about the issue in their search they see that the sightings are apparently growing. After that they go to a nearby crop circle. In which they find electromagnetic anomalies.
The friends see a strange craft being chased by military craft as it reaches higher in the air but the plane loses it.
The friends decide to go to an army base with nuclear capabilities.
There they see a flying cigar with windows seeing alien beings. After which they witness them pointing a beam at the bunkers (the nukes are stored in bunkers inside the base) the devices are shut off the friends see that the ship is heading towards them. the friends run but one of them is abducted and floats into the ship. the friends drop all their things and return to the orphanage.
the abductee wakes up the next day naked and alone with marks all over his body. the other 2 find him outside the orphanage. After a unintentional mind reading of the friends The other 2 friends are then convinced that the abductee has telepathy and may be able to contact them. The friends then use the telepathy to call the aliens.
The friend sees his memories and felt like it was a pleasant experience like he was surrounded by people he can trust like his friends.
He tells them that a lot of them want the truth. The aliens reluctantly decide to reveal the truth after much persuasion by the friends. The friends are then questioned by government agents.
The friends outsmart them because the agents couldn't find the stuff because they left it at the base. The friends (with the help of a police officer and a veteran who earlier in the story were skeptical and investigated the first sighting) organize a massive gathering from around the nation with the help of a social media campaign to amass at an area.
The government captures them try to stop what they see as the "time bomb" the friends are interrogated using threats that they would go to jail. The friends are released due to lack of evidence of any terrorist activity and the immense media coverage.
The friends run to the gathering and see that Nearly 1 million came making them shy (since they are outcast and all) the friend's notice that the people are taking pictures of balls of light or looking.
The friends see that the mile large mother ship that is cigar or disk shaped is in the clouds and it turns on.
The friend contacts the ship telling them to land in the forest a mile away the crowd takes pictures and sees the ship land far from them.
They all go silent as the balls of light fly around giving them a display. The people then go near the ship and see the media are recording to.
The ship floats near the ground and the friends use special lights and the friend's telepathy to contact them which triggers a response.
The ship then sends down a large alien humanoid. The people look as other humanoids walk out a large ramp from the ship.
The friends realize that everything is going to change and the telepathic proceeds to contact them. They establish contact and talk about the fate of earth. The aliens leave gifts to the humans of earth and offer the friends a new home.
The friend with telepathy says that we will not be prisoners but equals. The friend with telepathy goes along with the rest of the friends entering the ship after contact.
The ship leaves earth with the friends believing earth will be a better place. The aliens leave and mass sightings and some contacts continue the script ends with the friends on the ship seeing the planet calling it home.
The friends have a happy ending but earth's final fate remains unknown leaving the interpretation up to the reader

I like the story arc that shows a group of friend's journey from skepticism to knowing, it's a great way to introduce the reality of UFOs to the reader. Also the story is interesting and dramatic. I was thinking that it would also make a good movie. The ending sounds good too. I like the idea of the friends going onboard the craft. Being on such a craft and beginning a space journey is very appealing to me. It stirs the imagination in the reader, who, like me would give my right arm to be in their situation. It not only is a satisfying and uplifting conclusion, but it is also a good segway for the story to continue in future books. I want to read it!
Just a few personal notes.. I went to Wiltshire in England for two weeks in the summer of 2010 to visit the crop circles. It was an amazing experience for me. I and my friends witnessed two UFO phenomenon while we were in the middle of the crop circles in the very early hours of the morning.
I have read about the Rendlesham forest UFO incident in The UK in 1980. It has strong parallels with the army missile base scene in your outline. The Rendlesham incident is a very compelling incident. It might be good to seed references to such real cases in your story.
The Disclosure Project Meeting of 2001 hosted by Dr. Steven Greer changed my life (after seeing it on YouTube in 2007). As I see it, the UFO/ET topic is hugely important and any way that we, as artists can wake people up from the media induced ridicule of this topic is doing a great service to humanity.

The colors of the original were very bright. Her jumpsuit was bright orange. I toned it down in Photoshop and now it seems almost a very bronzed skin color. I get your point. I swear it wasn't my intention.
her jumpsuit materializes on her body using the manifestation technology discussed. It is tight fitting but not overly or grotesquely revealing from the front. Thanks for your comment.
