Okay, its time for me to get shallow. I was watching Puni Puni Poemy with my friends last night (that show is much dirtier than I thought I'd ever actually expose myself to, but I survived and you know.) BUT its directed by Watanabe which means Nabeshin was totally in it... Nabeshin was one of my favorite characters. He's a second ranker right now, but we'll see what happens there. But anyway it made me think of Excel Saga. And Excel Saga made me think of Sumiyoshi. Now, if you dont recognize him that's okay. Fans of the show probably remember what's going on. But Sumiyoshi was the overweight fishlipped guy who spoke in a dialect (sumiyoshi: 'how rude') but in episode seven I think it was? The Scifi episode, he was attacked by Puchus (seen dangling off his leg) which suck the life out of people. Instead of sucking life they gave Sumiyoshi an instant lyposuction procedure and actually made him really hot! I felt rather petty, but the fact was that I really liked him and I didnt realize until he got pretty that he was probably my favorite character in the show... the straightman. I have a fondness for straightmen just like I have a fondness for comic relief. So yeah, sumiyoshi, and all his puchus. Its a fun pic tho isn't it?
