have a look at kerkythea, its a free render engine and has a sketchup exporter.

I've just downloaded it but the problem is that it will only show up in Google Sketchup 6.
Another thing is how to change the template on Sketchup 6. I can change the template in Sketchup 7 but I don't know how to do it in version 6.

The template. You know where you start up SU7 and it gives you the choice where you can choose the template?

Kerkythea should work in SU7 too. I assume you're using the SU2KT plugin to export files into Kerkythea? If so, you'll have to put a copy of the ruby script files in the SU7 directory just like you did for SU6.
